2014 Celebration of Community, Philanthropy and Comedy

On April 10th, 2014 the Carman Area Foundation held it’s 8^th annual Celebration of Community and Philanthropy.  This year, more than $40,000 was granted to local organizations.  Recipients from organizations in Carman, Elm Creek, Roland, and Sperling lined up to receive their cheque for bettering their communities. Carman’s Youth in Philanthropy yet again stepped up and made some grants of their own.  Their community dedication is proving to be a valuable asset to Carman and area. It was another successful event with some extraordinary entertainment, provided by Big Daddy Tazz.  His hilarious stand up routine ensured everyone was in good spirits.  Over $55,000.00 was added to the Foundation`s endowment funds as a result of Carman and Area’s amazing generosity.
